The renovation of the historic Hotel Terrasse in Vitznau has cleared an important hurdle: The municipality and canton have issued the building permit. This means that the framework conditions are in place to preserve and sustainably renovate this important cultural heritage site on Lake Lucerne, although construction cannot begin until financing is secured.

In order to make further progress in raising capital, the Board of Directors has decided to extend the subscription period for new shares until 28 February 2026. Our aim is to secure the necessary capital by autumn 2025 so that the implementation of the restructuring can begin, and CHF 500,000 of shares have already been subscribed – a strong sign of confidence in this project.

But more support is needed! Every share subscribed brings us closer to our goal of maintaining the Hotel Terrasse as a lively place for guests, the region and the local population.

The Terrasse am See Hotel in Vitznau was saved from being sold and will continue to be run as a historic hotel in the future. This is how it is recorded in the land registry. This is very good news.

Targeted investment is now needed to ensure that this architectural treasure is preserved for the future in a manner befitting its historical significance. The renovation work will bring the building closer to its original state and enable more sustainable management.

To upgrade the listed building, Hotel Terrasse AG, the long-term operator of the hotel, will implement a share capital increase of up to CHF 4.2 million. This measure offers impact-oriented investors the unique opportunity not only to contribute to the preservation of a cultural and historical monument, but also to become part of a unique project.
